The Admission Process

The transfer admission process at CNU is offered on a competitive basis for those applicants who present the strongest academic records provided space is available in their selected area of study.

• The transfer admission process at CNU is competitive and selective.
• Submit an application for admission, $45 application fee (non-refundable), all official college and university transcripts (partial transcripts and/or grade reports are required until final grades are posted) and an official high school transcript(s) and test scores.  NOTE: If graduation from high school was five years or more ago, test scores are not required.)  Documentation received after the stated deadline will be considered on a space available basis only.
• To be considered for transfer admission, priority is focused on those students meeting general education requirements and presenting a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.  NOTE: Priority is granted to those applicants presenting a 3.0 GPA from each college attended.
• Once admission decisions are finalized, letter of decision are mailed to prospective students as indicated below.  All decisions are delivered in writing.
• Application and credential(s) deadlines: 
  

  Fall term = March 1
  

  Spring term = October 1
  (Note: All official transcripts from all colleges attended must be received by the stated deadlines.)
  

• Admission decisions are normally finalized and mailed the third week of November for the spring term and the third week of May for the fall term.
  
• CNU requires full time enrollment.
